carss Posted March 5 Posted March 5 A genuine question, especially considering that the F-35 will be coming to DCS and it's gonna have an AESA radar, will the Typhoon be the first plane in game to introduce an AESA radar? Similar to how most every other plane that comes to DCS introduces some new feature, like the Viggen for instance was the plane to introduce the air to ground radar code to DCS, and now it's used by all other birds like the F-15E, F/A-18 etc [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Planes: FC3, P-51, F-86, F-5E, Mirage 2000, F/A-18, F-14, F-16, Mig-19P :joystick: ED pls gib A-4 and F-4
F-2 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 As far as I’m aware the typhoon is planned to have the mechanical scan captor radar. They didnt rule out AESA however. 1
legitscoper Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Well it depends on how much information we have about it, and if it fits the model HB is making. So I doubt it will come really, maaaaybe years after release... - legitscoper My specs: Windows 8.1 Laptop Lenovo Y50 intel core i7 Nvidia GTX 860M, 8gb RAM, 275GB SSD
