How to affect the deck crew to provide me to surtain CAT

Dear Pilots and Operators,

 

how do I get the Deck crew to send me to a CAT of my choice?

 

For example: I have a mission, where I spawn into a hot F14 while there are two TomCats launching from CAT 1 and 3. When I take over my TomCat the Deck Crew always sends me to CAT 1 where the other TomCat is preparing to launch while CAT 2 is empty.

I've read something about the parking slot affecting the CAT to launch but there is no option in the Editor wqhere I can determine the parking slot for a hot (Engines On) Jet or am I missing something?

Aircraft assigned "Takeoff from runway hot" in the mission editor will spawn on the catapult specified in the mission editor by the mission designer.

From parking you will spawn depending on the deck configuration - parking spots taken by AI and static aircraft. All is in the Supercarrier manual and forum.
