The AI controlled F18 has a boarding ladder when the the wheel chocks are applied.

@BIGNEWYCan this be added for the player controlled F18 too?

I started "walking around" the F18 for pre checks and after the flight and having a ladder that appears and disappears would be very cool. Thanks!

I´ve been asking this for years to ED (since Hornet was launched). I used to have the Blues Angels Equipment mod where you can bind a key to stow/unstow the boarding ladder but my version no longer works. Tried to edit myself but no joy, my programing knowledge is very low.

I do always my walkaround in VR and this feature will be neat for immersion.

The CJS Superhornat has that feature, i asked the devs how i do it for the Hornet (i didn´t ask them to do it if they don´t want it, and that i try to do it myself with guidance) but no response.

I think this is what you are looking for:

This mod works great, has no effect on the sim . . use it on my missions with carrier and field aircraft.

Another one I use with no effect . . I have my carrier elevator doors down

No prob don´t worry, sometimes i misunderstand posts here too.

I just don´t understand why such little feature like this one is not yet implemented. It´s not game changer/game breaker of course but it is requested for many years....

Enjoy.
