Mainstay Posted March 22 Posted March 22 I want to remove some stock DCS liveries because of personal reasons. Will this give any issues on updates or multiplayer?
razo+r Posted March 22 Posted March 22 They'll likely get downloaded again with each update and repair, and in multiplayer obviously if others have a skin selected that you don't have you'll normally just not see it or in the worst case will see the "missing texture" texture. IC compliance not guaranteed. So that would be another thing you have to watch out for. Might or might not trigger the IC, preventing you from joining servers with IC turned on.

You won't see any green checkered liveries, and will pass the Integrity Check in multiplayer, so yeah, it's completely safe. The only downside is that DCS will re-download them during the next update. 1 1 Dima | My DCS uploads

aceviper Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Browsing my install yesterday I noticed F4 Phantom and Mirage F1 liveries totaling over 20 gb. Even though I do not own these modules. Here is the kicker for ED...Im not buying maps because of dwindling drive space on my 1tb ssd. A suggestion...maybe limit the install footprint size of a module to a couple of liveries for those who haven't purchased them. 1
