SOLIDKREATE Posted March 26 Posted March 26 (edited) WORKS NOW, SEE POST #2 Hello Heat Blur, First off thank you from an old F-14A and B Mechanic for making this bird (VF-32). I am encountering an issue with the Wing Sweep Operation and button assignments. HOTAS: Logitech X-56 I assigned the wing sweep forward, aft and auto to my: "SW1", "SW2", and "SW3" buttons. These are switches that are 'momentary' and can be held down. I checked with the HOTAS software and verified all butons are recieveing input, and that they act as I beleive that they do. I encounter this in both SP and MP. The Wing Sweep Auto I assume is suppossed to be a PB somwhere in the cockpit (I have yet to locate it). So, I assigned it on my "SW3" toggle. Then I tried the two finger switches under the throttle. None of this worked. Could you guys perhaps make the wing sweep an Axis? Then I could use my two rotary knobs. Not mine, but this is the stick I have. I chose this image because you can see the buttons I am referring too. All wing sweep controls are on the hat on the RH throttle handle. https://heatblur.se/F-14Manual/cockpit.html#throttle Make sure you have the electric power and enough hydraulics pressure while testing it. Also make sure the CADC responds by resetting it with the RESET button if you used emergency mode before or just after cold start. Make sure the lever of the emergency wing sweep is pressed down. https://heatblur.se/F-14Manual/cockpit.html#fuel-management-panel [#8] Emergency wing sweep operation is something entirely different and is the lever on the right of the throttle. https://heatblur.se/F-14Manual/general.html#wingsweepemerg You can move it by first raising the cover and then extending the handle. This is how it should work, I have not yet watched your track. 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria

Web site says "DCS compatible" but to be sure of what it means you'd need exact details on the buttons and axes, info on if the emergency wing sweep lever is motorized (I doubt it) and such. Rhrich Posted March 26 Posted March 26 As someone with intimate knowledge you’ll be aware of how it worked in real life, that’s what’s duplicated here. But as in life, the emergency wing sweep is an axis and can be mapped to one.

MAXsenna Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Wow dude, thank you so much. I will study this and try it. I also just found this: https://throttletek.com/gf-14-throttle/ - HB will this work with your module? How would HB know? If it works in Windows/Direct Input it will work in DCS, while I've read mixed reviews on that one. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk 1
