thatnukkamoe Posted April 4 Posted April 4 I'm highly disappointed, Before the update, it was running smooth with or without overclocking (w or w/o VR). Now, it's unplayable. Here are my steps I've taken (Non-VR): *Step One* -Update BIOS/Hardware/Software drivers -Update graphics card drivers -Latest Windows Update -Latest Steam and DCS World update -Verify integrity files (Both Windows and DCS) -Restart & try again (Didn't Work) *Step Two* -Turned off overclocking on both CPU & GPU & E-Cores on BIOS (after I've read the first part of the dcs.log) -Turned off HDR -Turned off firewall, virus protection, and security control. -Power set to performance -No other apps while playing STEAM -Cleanup all files and logs -Restart & try again (Didn't Work) *Step Three* -Lowered all settings much as possible -Restart & retry again (Didn't Work) After trying to troubleshoot for four hours, DCS World is still unplayable. Therefore I tossed the towel and decide it's time for me to depart. Attached is the log. ________________________________________ Alienware Aurora R16 Windows 11 Pro Intel i9-14900KF BIOS 2.15 (2/4/2025) RTX 4080 Super (Driver 572.83) 32GB RAM dcs.log
