You may actually find that having the display on your non-dominant eye improves your "stick and pedals" flying, as it makes paying attention to the display a much more deliberate action, and getting over-focused on the display is something that gives a lot of people trouble (unconsciously trying to fly the HUD instead of the aircraft). I overcome this problem myself by keeping the "hide HMD" binding on my HOTAS so i can kick it out of my vision when i'm not doing something that NEEDS it. If you've already tried this, then feel free to tell me to eff off. Sorry for my late reply. The right eye is not an option for me. The left eye is the dominant and the vision is a notch better on the left eye which makes it even more uncomfortable to use it on the right eye. I would do everything needed to change that if i would fly this aircraft in real life, but definitely not for a computergame especially if we have the option to use it on the other eye. But yes - of course i tried it on the right eye. Just to see if it‘s just me doing something wrong . Tbh: there is nothing easier in this aircraft than just boresighting the IHADSS and if you do it in VR on the right eye according the manual it works perfectly. But it‘s still sad. That was the „WOW“ - feature of this aircraft for which it was really famous and well known back in the 80s and it‘s not working (or at least not without a stupid workaround which doesn’t even work always) on the left eye in DCS.
Rogue Trooper Posted July 3 Posted July 3 (edited) I am right eye, and I need to offset my LOS left to just outside the first hollow circle, I only fly VR. How did you manage to calibrate right eye dead on centre and it was perfect? Or are you talking about CPG position? Edited July 3 by Rogue Trooper HP G2 Reverb (Needs upgrading), Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate. set to OpenXR, but Open XR tool kit disabled. But when i tried in both seats i did it just as it is written in the manual. That worked perfectly for me. I‘m short in time at the moment but next time i can test it again with the right eye.
