Hello Aerges Team,

the IFF panel (under the fuel selectors) is no longer clickable (at least with the EE version).

I can't activate the rotators and other switches in IFF mode 4 or any of the other 3 modes.

Is this a bug or is there a new procedure to activate them ? ...  or is it my configuration?

Hello MF1!

We are unable to reproduce it. Are you using any mod? Or can you specify the steps to reproduce it? Maybe a short trk. Thank you.

Hello Vibora,

IFF :

Here's a track file for a multiplayer mission.
The problem can wait. Have a good weekend, first of all.

PS: I only have the following mods: C130 and U-60L.
Warm regards.

Cordial saludo

Same problem.  Unable to click dials of IFF panel or turn on switch for IFF.  The test light activation point is off location over the on off switch instead of over the light itself.

Sorry MF1, but I can't open that trk, it generates an error.

It would be ideal to get a short trk recorded in Caucasus. For example, just get into the cockpit in a simple mission (one Mirage F1EE and nothing else), try to operate the IFF, close the mission and record that trk.

Maybe someone else can help with that trk.

So that's a funny one. It works in single player. It doesn't in multiplayer. I've attached the track from multiplayer and 2 screenshots.

1 screenshot is from the replay (panel with bright plate), the other is from the server. On the server I was able to interact only with the brightness knob from the panel we see in the replay.

Additional info - I have the mode 4 installed checked in special options.

I can confirm that this happens when I have the new mode 4 IFF option checked. This is probably a desync when the option in special settings has different value than the option on the server.

Yeah.... problem seems to be MP vs. offline. Offline OK. MP not OK. Affects both the -EE and -CE. Two different looking IFF panels.

Plot thickens a bit... if I un-select the "Mode 4 IFF installed" in the special options for the F-1, the IFF panel in the EE is now clickable in multiplayer.

The problem is this from the changelog: "Some options, such as: 'Simplified Gear Lever', 'Simplified Firing Safety', 'Mode 4 IFF installed', 'Delayed Oil warning light', 'Counters reset on rearm/refuel', are always read from the mission now. These options will be always in sync between seats in F1BE."

I'm wondering if the problem is confusion between the client settings and the the server-side MIZ file.

If I were Aerges, I'd just let the client settings rule the day. Most server folks aren't going to get all of the F-1 options correct.

Seems every user option is screwed up in the multiplayer. This roll-out was poorly thought out. In situations with Dynamic Spawns, the F-1 is all kinds of messed up.

Yep, that's what I said above, to confirm it even more - you can interact with the brightness knob of the modern IFF even though when you're on the server you see the old panel and it's not there. Strangely that seems to be the only part of the panel you can interact with.

I noticed that you can interact with the "wrong" IFF panel! Bizzarre.

For multiplayer, you basically need to uncheck all of the "simple-logic" options: Landing gear, IFF, Unfolding the triggers, etc.

I can't throw any stones at Aerges, they generally do great with the F-1. It's still a ridiculously good module.
