Quest pro - comfort upgrades?

Recommended Posts

After getting my new quest pro, do far really enjoy it except for the comfort issue after playing for a while. Especially noticeable on the forehead with a lot of the pressure building up there. Does anyone have any good recommendations for improving the comfort for longer sessions?

My solution was a set of 4 Zeitauto velcro straps.  I strapped 3 side to side on the headset and they now happily carry the weight of the headset.  They were also dirt cheap when compared to the normal commercial solutions.

Try detaching the rear pad, turn it upside down and reattach. This helps support the weight more on the top of your head and allows your eyes to get a bit closer to the lenses. I find it quite comfortable but it all depends on head shape etc.

The Quest Pro was the most uncomfortable headset I've ever owned, until I bought the Globular Cluster mod. I was having the same issue you've described, excessive head pressure which caused insta-headaches. With the Globular Cluster replacement components, that issue completely went away for me.

I wasn't banned, but this account is mostly inactive and not monitored.

+1 on the Globular Cluster mod fine investment on the original pads.

Tried switching the rear pad around and that is definitely worse for me.

Globular cluster seems like the go-to recommendation but they don't seem to sell anymore here on euroland!
