Probably been asked a million times.

Apart from load times from hell is it still important to have the maps on faster harddrives? I will do jets for sure not just slow lawnmovers. I bought syria and kola so probably those maps I will use the most.

No but you might get stuttering during terrain/object loading and or script activation.

Thanks! Can you install on different harddrives? Probably should do the opposite but I have the aircraft modules now on a SSD but it´s full. I see no option in the launcher to choose where to install the modules. I am using eagle dynamics not the steam version.

not inside DCS... however.. you can do this in windows by creating a symbolic link between on one drive which connects to a physical folder on another drive , it's seamless to apps , so the just think they are using the "D:" drive even if you have a link to a folder on the F: drive

You can pick up a 1TB Gen 4 NVMe drive for £50, thats less than the price of a module.
Just run all your DCS stuff from a single drive.
