What type of SAMs are represented by the in-map infrastructure?

Looking through all the SAM site infrastructure I can't really identify what type of SAM system they are supposed to represent.

The West German side only appears to have a single type of setup: Two raised berms for radar and 3 launch pads connected to each radar berm. It looks similar to a Hawk site to me, but the Hawk system has four radars yet we only get two raised berms?

The East German side seems to have two types. One is fairly obviously SA-5, but the rest appear to be SA-3 in design. But again we only get one raised berm for the radar when there should be two.

Where are the SA-2 sites? AAA/Fire Cans? Surely there were other SAMs and AAA sites particularly in East Germany.

Alot of the SAM sites in east germany were round or starshaped in nature and most of the time inside forested areas almost hidden away. The SA5 sited i was not able to find anything looking remotely similar to in real east germany as there were only two actual samsites and one planned and they were all unique.

On the west german site we have a few HAWK sites that are a bit iffy to setup but possible and essentially all NIKE and PAT sites are missing.

There were 4 SA-5 sites in East Germany. Two in the north controlled by East Germany, one in the middle controlled by the USSR, and one in the south that wasn't quite finished. They are actually fairly consistent in layout between the East Germany sites.

Mixed something up my bad.

There is for sure one too many down south near the border near Bad Salzungen. From what my records list it seems to have been an EWR site. Definetly not a big installation.

Will have to check more when im home

I imagined that would be the case, especially for SA-2s, but all I can find are SA-3 style setups with the four pads fanning out from a central track radar position.

The layout of the SAM sites in DDR corrospond to SA-5 (the big coffin shaped ones) and SA-3 sites (the smaller square ones)
the layout of the sites in west germany corrospond to hawk batteries (2 sets of 4 launchers with a tracking radar each)

Yes, but does that mean that DDR only had SA-3s and SA-5s? Were there no SA-2s or other systems in the DDR?
