F-18_HUD.zip OvGME comp. I gave this a try and while it sharpens up the HMD symbology, it also makes the HUD look a bit janky. The AMPCD font is also adversely affected. I poked around in some of the Hornet LUA files to see if I could isolate the parameters that affect the HMD but was unsuccessful. Hopefully ED will address this issue. I was doing some guns-only in the Hornet today and that HMD kept making me say, "Look how they massacred my boy!". It looks awful. edit: After removing the mod and restoring the original files, I edited MDG_strokesDefs.lua and changed line 3: original: stroke_thickness = 0.8 new: stroke_thickness = 0.4 YMMV but my HMD looks a lot better now. PacFlyer23 Posted June 2 Posted June 2 (edited) I've been away from DCS for a month dealing with my PC issue and eventually getting a new setup. I started last couple of days doing refresher training on the F/A-18 and did one on the JHMCS - immediately noticed it was blurry and not sharply focused. Definitely not the same look as it was a month ago and is a new issue after recent updates. Did not change anything except patched the game. My resolution is 3440x1440. After the update HUD and HMD look much worse. Especially the HMD is bold and ugly compared to the situation before the patch.
