nodes Posted June 2 Posted June 2 (edited) Im from Russia. Recently, I started playing the F-16 module, but I encountered a problem: I experience stutters and freezes specifically with this module. I can’t play normally because the game freezes during any maneuver with the aircraft. I posted about this on the Russian forum, but nobody was able to help me. rob10 Posted Monday at 10:21 PM Posted Monday at 10:21 PM System RAM: 15315 MB, Pagefile: 11776 MB You're playing with only bare minimum RAM requirement. I'd bump your pagefile to a fixed min/max of 32,768GB and make sure it's on a fast drive (not a HDD).

BJ55 Posted Tuesday at 09:08 AM Posted Tuesday at 09:08 AM Try with repairing/reinstalling VC_redist (you can find it in ..\DCS World\distr) , perform a RAM check. A dxdiag log could be helpful. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/312131-dcs-error-vcruntime140dll/ I7-12700F, 64GB DDR4 XMP1 3000MHz, Asus Z670M, MSI RTX 3070 2560x1440 60Hz, TIR 5, TM WH VPC base, TM rudder, Win10 Pro

BJ55 Posted Tuesday at 02:50 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:50 PM (edited) 2025-06-02 14:42:08.673 WARNING SECURITYCONTROL (Main): IC fail: coremods/aircraft/f-16c/entry.lua + other multiple IC fail warnings... Perform a full repair, if this doesn't work uninstall the F-16 module, restart and close DCS, reinstall the module, check if DCS installation folder is excluded from AV scanning and disable memory integrity, also disable disk indexing for faster r/w. Check your free disk space, must be at least 100GB. Be aware that your sys specs are very low, bring the pagefile to fixed 64GB and start thinking at some HW upgrades (64GB RAM, 2TB SSD). Changing the page file when you have little to no room on either of your drives won't help much. Your current drivers are fairly slow drives as well. Consider a larger drive at least, assuming your system is not capable of handling an M.2 drive. Most things will not run well on drives that are near full. Your system memory is ok, but not helped by poor pagefile performance I am sure. VRAM is bare minimum, and the 2060 card is not great. But it's usable at low settings, if the other issues did not exist. The quickest, easiest move here is a better drive, but even then, your system will need to use lower settings. iceman06 Posted Friday at 11:48 AM Posted Friday at 11:48 AM Hi @nodes Your configuration is indeed very limiting for DCS, I'm also experiencing some annoyances with the F-16 in particular while the rest of my modules run perfectly smoothly. If you haven't already, I recommend you start by reducing all your graphics options without exception for a test.(All to minimum and also disable DLSS) -V-sync and Fps Cap Disabled -Run your power management in performance mode -Set antivirus or Defender exceptions for DCS and also for saved game folders -Set DCS.exe app to Performance in gaphique setting on windows -Try to ON/OFF game mode and disable Game bar -HAGS OFF Nvidia settings -Power management performance mode -Low latency mode : Ultra -Set unlimited shader cache in default 3d settings (Clean also all your shader caches) Firstly, this setting will allow us to have a starting point to test the fps that your configuration can obtain and perhaps eliminate some problems. After that, do a test flight, possibly record your track or give us your average fps. One last thing and perhaps one of the most important with the F-16 because it is my problem too is that I have to switch the Radar altimeter to OFF otherwise I suffer from big stutter during my maneuvers for a reason that I ignore so try it when your parameters are at a minimum.
