Volator Posted June 3 Posted June 3 (edited) At Pferdsfeld AB there are some issues with taxiway lights at both Last Chance / EOR positions, see screenshots. Also, the dreaded light masts surely can be removed here as well, they just don't fit into the scene of a 1980s GAF airbase. Edited June 25 by Volator 1 2 1./JG71 "Richthofen" - Seven Eleven
Volator Posted June 7 Author Posted June 7 (edited) By the way, the taxiway markings should be yellow, not white. Edited June 7 by Volator 1 1./JG71 "Richthofen" - Seven Eleven
Rick Mave Posted June 30 Posted June 30 (edited) Information about the airfield, including some runway specifics. This is from 1986. Map of the A-Bereich, year unknown Here you can see some of the terrain particularities at Pferdsfeld. Especially the last chance area at RWY27 should look much different from what it does in game at the moment. If you look for more images and even video footage of the airfield I am sure you will be able to recreate this airfield in a much more true to life fashion. Looking forward what Ugra Media does with the map in future updates! Edited June 30 by Rick Mave 1 1
Rick Mave Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Here are some more images that hint at just how hard the terrain fell off to the East of the Runway. This Photo was taken into the direction of RWY27 and shows the runway lighting before the RWY threshold And another image taken facing the opposite direction, so facing EAST on the downward slope off of RWY 27 1
Rick Mave Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago After the latest patch I would consider the following points reported previously resolved: Large lighting towers in inappropriate locations Taxi way lighting placed in inappropriate locations Taxi way markings are now yellow, as they should be What I would love to see addressed in a future update is the terrain geometry and the infrastructure. Pferdsfeld has some very notable and large Hangars and terrain features that I would love to see represented in the map. Great work so far and looking forward to seeing more! 1 1
Leviathan667 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Wind does not influence the choice of runway for aircraft takeoff and landing. Aircraft consistently use Runway 27 for takeoff and Runway 09 for landing, or vice versa. 1 Wishlist: Tornado ADV/IDS, Blackburn Buccaneer, Super Mystère B2, Saab J 35 Draken,
