Hi, first of all, I have to say that I just completed mission 7, and this campaign is my favorite of all the Huey-related ones I've played. Maybe even of all the campaigns in other modules.

You had some great ideas for giving us the feeling of being a pilot in Vietnam. The Guam map is well chosen (in the absence of a real Vietnam map) and very pleasant to explore. The weather is great too.

I have a question: now that the Guam WWII map is out, could we get a port of this campaign to this map? I think it's even more suitable than the modern version, and the immersion would be even higher. Because there's no more big modern city. The airfields looks more like "entrenched camps", and more wooden houses, more jungle too.

I don't know how much work that represents, but it could be great.

Thanks for your work and for this great campaign.

Thanks, I'm glad you like the campaign, but sorry that's absolutely not going to happen.

1) Technically, I can't move a mission to another map, I need to rebuild it from scratch which is an immense work.

2) All the voice overs, briefings, maps, everything is built around locations on the modern Marianas map. Andersen AFB, Hagatna Harbor, The warehouses, Company HQ, the Golf Course, Guam Memorial Hospital, etc... these are NOT on the WW2 version

3) Therefore, basically I'd need to invent completely new missions, record new voice overs and make new briefing visuals and maps. All I could use from Paradise Lost would be the skins. It's the equivalent of building a new campaign from scratch, so it's most definitely not going to happen.

Maybe if one day we get a Vietnam map, I may do another campaign, but for the WW2 Marianas there's absolutely no point in investing the energy and time it would require. I'd much rather invest that into a Corsair campaign 😉

Thanks for the quick reply. No problem. I was asking because, as I said, I had no idea how much work it would be. I understand better now.

In any case, I will confidently purchase the other campaigns you create in the future. I love Paradise Lost so much that I'm disappointed to have already finished mission 7 🙂 . But what a joy!

I don't plan on buying the Corsair right away, but no doubt this announcement will make everyone who comes across this thread very happy!
