Sparrow_1976 Posted Monday at 11:20 AM Posted Monday at 11:20 AM Hi! I recently tried to use the Pagan airstrip with a C-101, my intention is to land on the island AND then take off again. I also have the F-5, F-16 and F-14, but I think it is not possible to use them there. With the C-101 I was able to land quite easily coming from the sea. However, the take off seems to be possible only in one direction (towards the volcano) and even then it seems a very risky maneuver. I would like to know if you have experience taking off from Pagan with any jets, or if this airstrip should be considered suitable only for propeller planes. Thanks!
draconus Posted yesterday at 10:57 AM Posted yesterday at 10:57 AM Definitely not suitable for most jets but doable with lighter jets with short landing capabilities, like Viggen or Harrier. 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
AndyJWest Posted yesterday at 11:26 AM Posted yesterday at 11:26 AM See this thread. It appears that the WW2 airstrip should be longer. 1
