DD_Friar Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Salute, Not sure if this has been hiding in plain sight all these years I have been playing or if it is new, but I have just seen that no matter what effort I put into building a multi-player mission regarding icon settings and fog of war to increase the suspense or external views to stop "God View" (not ideal when playing in tanks and you want to set up an ambush) players can change their game settings to over-ride the "Force" feature. Vakarian Posted Monday at 11:30 AM Posted Monday at 11:30 AM Have you actually tested this in the MP environment? AFAIK for the MP that doesn't matter, hasn't ever mattered. What you set as mission maker goes in the MP session, and only in SP can user override your settings 1
Czar66 Posted Monday at 12:07 PM Posted Monday at 12:07 PM IIRC, multiplayer server settings overrides all, as Valkarian pointed out above. This option 'No force from mission, use mine' is for single player and is there since LOMAC or before. 1
