I need to tell my ground chief to install a warning buzzer attached to my altimeter for 100 feet.  I have adjusted the weather winds 20 mph to give me some waves to help but still i go into the drink too much.

One tip which has helped is.... trim left and trim right I have used the rudder instead of the ailerons which has steadied the my nose alot!!  Just got to figure out how to stay dry!

Another tip… altitude 🙂

Flying over open water without any references, such as islands or ships, is very sketch IRL and in the sim. It’s very difficult to  judge your height. You are not alone.  I did it too, more than once 😮

If it’s your own mission, you can easily add a buzzer sound as a trigger when your altitude is low.  Might be good for practice, but don’t get too used to it 😉

Wow how do you add a buzzer for altitude I am interested!

Add a repetitive trigger with condition “Unit AGL lower than” (or something like that), and then for the action select “sound to…” and upload any buzzer sound of your choice in .ogg format

Just watch your instruments; the alt, artificial horizon and attitude indicator, which tell you if you are ascending or descending.  Plus don’t fly noe over the ocean, esp at night.
