dporter22 Posted July 4 Posted July 4 The guidance says to start, then request external power, but shut down engines before requesting external power. I'm confused. What exactly am I supposed to do?

If the kneeboard checklist is not enough, I suggest finding a YouTube video that shows you how. That might be a bit easier than trying to walk you through it here.

Kurnass1977 Posted Thursday at 06:55 PM Posted Thursday at 06:55 PM Ok, just finished my third attempt and scored 100
dporter22 Posted yesterday at 01:22 AM Author Posted yesterday at 01:22 AM How did you connect external power?
Kurnass1977 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Ok this is the procedure. Spoiler As per instruction start the plane and complete the checklist likr for a normal mission ( follow the Special procedure om the kneeboard). At this point call via F10 menu ground crew and order to connect the external power and shuydown the engines; when done follow again the kneeboard for After Engines Shot Down, and thst's all
dporter22 Posted 12 hours ago Author Posted 12 hours ago Ok, thanks. Doesn't make sense to start the engines, connect external power, then shut down the engines but ok.
Nix Mills Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago You start up the engines to run all your checks. When all that is done, you shut down the engines again so as not to sit and burn fuel in the parking area. All your instruments will stay powered on by the external power.
