nani Posted Tuesday at 09:33 AM Posted Tuesday at 09:33 AM The AN/AAQ-28 targeting pod mounted on the belly of the F-18 can be jettisoned in multiplayer games using an emergency release method, and the pod remains functional even after being jettisoned. I'm not sure if it's possible in single-player mode, but I've found that multiple people can reproduce it on multiplayer servers.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted Tuesday at 09:39 AM ED Team Posted Tuesday at 09:39 AM Hi, we will take a look, if you have a short track replay example on the Caucasus terrain that would be great. Also if this can be done in SP that would reduce the track replay size. Forum rules - DCS Crashing? nani Posted Tuesday at 01:02 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 01:02 PM The AN/AAQ-28 targeting pod on the F/A-18 can be jettisoned by pressing the emergency release button when mounted on the centerline pylon (the middle one). However, after jettisoning, the pod's display remains functional and can still zoom. I have uploaded a compressed file containing the TRK file, replay video, and mission MIZ file used to Google Drive. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HT_Gr9crTZxlcRxAKZO0tVJn1ikQJWPO/view?usp=sharing
