Omega Oska Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 While I was doing my research on the cockpits, I found that many buttons in the cockpit are not modelled ingame. Like the left panel that mainly controls the radio, and nav etc.., and also the buttons in the weapons panel are also not modelled. Do you think I should keep doing this, and hope that in the future there will be a very detailed flanker sim, so I can make the cockpit useful? (And why is this forum only allowing 2 pages...)

You've probably got the forum set up to only display threads from the last day . . . . . . Find the display option settings (below the thread listing for me) and have a play. I'm certainly hoping that in the future the Flanker cockpit and avionics will be upgraded - would the kind of detail modelled in the Su25T for v1.1 make it worthwhile? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/britgliderpilot/BS2Britgliderpilot-1.jpg
4c Hajduk Veljko Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 I am also plannng to build russian airplanes cokpits. Will start working on that project sometime later this year. Altthough not every button is modeled in the game, a lot of them are. So I believe that it is worth playing with that. SUBS17 Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Hopefully the Lockon sequel will go fully modeled pits. But considering that you want to build a cockpit I suggest you look at fighterops and just let the team know that you intend to make a flanker pit on the forum. Fighterops is being developed with home pits in mind. And I believe that some time after the initial release they are planning on modeling some russian aircraft.Heres the forum page, goto the pits page http://fighterops.com/forum/index.php? And heres the main web page http://www.fighterops.com/tacref.htm cheers Subs [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
