I am about to venture into the DCS world and I am lost and looking where to get started with the bindings or profile uploads to make it easier. I have all the goodies to start with including VKB rudder, NXT EVO premium (R) and the Stec Standard. I need help with the bindings to help me get up and flying. I read somewhere I can easily upload a profile to make life easier. I'd appreciate any help or direction on how to get started as I kinda feel overwhelmed with all the bindings I may have to do not knowing where to start. I am excited to begin this journey. Thanks in advance. BTW am looking to learn the F/A 18

I cannot give you profiles, but I can give you a Site that helped me a lot with setting up my controls and understanding certain functions

To keep things simple just look at the illustration of the HOTAS in the manual and copy those with your bindings. That’s all you really need. You can add more as your preference but all that’s necessary to get started is to emulate what the real controls have in them. I would add the Zoom View commands to that though.  It’s not necessary to have every single binding mapped to your controls. That’s what the clickable cockpit is for.

Chuck’s Guides are very nicely done but they have a big flaw. They don’t highlight changes like this. That makes them way too difficult to use when there are updates. They might be ok to read through just once but they aren’t very good for ongoing use.
