cobrabase Posted July 23 Posted July 23 (edited) I got the latest update on July 23rd and now when George is given permission to engage targets in range with gun he refuses to fire. Rockets are wonky now- even if George locks and lasers a target in rockets co-op mode, the range is based off the shooting pilot's crosshairs controlling the pylons. It's like a hybrid with TADS marking the aim point and the pilot controlling the range distance to the target with his head. Was this intended? Edited July 23 by cobrabase [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Floyd1212 Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Maybe you are running into this known issue mentioned in the patch notes? Quote Known Issue: George will not action rockets to enter COOP rocket mode after setting AI Interface to “RKT”. Sounds like you aren't actually in COOP mode?

Floyd1212 Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I haven't had a chance to fly yet after the patch. You see "COOP" in the high-action display indicating you have both WAS'ed rockets at the same time?

The confirmation of COOP mode is in the lower right corner of the IHADSS, wich is not happening. Floyd1212 Posted July 24 Posted July 24 I was also having issues with George not firing the gun after saying "engaging". I'll do some more testing next time I go up. In general, I like the new tricks George learned, but it will take a bit to master the menus and sub-modes, etc.
