ECM restart

Hi, I set the ECM to both self-protect mode and barrage mode at startup. I used both functions during combat with the ECM enable light on as it should be. On the way back, I turned the ECM off and then back on, following normal procedures for turn on ECM in barrage mode (ECM mode, countermeasures set, etc.). However, the ECM enable light never came on again with the aft command in barriage mode, as if the ECM was no longer functional. I experience the same problem turning on for the first time the ECM when in flight instead of at F16 startup. Maybe do I miss somthing? Thanks for your help.

I think the ECM takes some time to warm up before you can use it. How long did you wait after putting it into ON and trying to activate it?

I though the same, so I push a bit of accelerate time (I really don't know how much I waited) but nothing. Maybe I'll try a bit more.

You can only use barrage in MAN mode. You can't use semi.
