Two Different Profiles

Strange one - If I load up DCS BS by using DCSMax I get the profile which I have been using for some time, with my pilot, loads of medals and my cotroller config how I like it.

 

If I load up using the DCS BS desktop shortcut I get an old pilot (I used to use before DCSMax) with old control settings.

 

Why does this occur? It's as if I have two completely seperate games. I was hoping to be able to stop using DCSMax since the mod, but don't want to have to re-set up all my controller settings and re-fly the campaigns...:helpsmilie:

If you a) use Win Vista and b) installed BS into the default location (C:/Program Files/) then the cause is probably that DCS Max starts BS with admin rights, while your desktop icon starts it with user rights.
