nir Posted Saturday at 07:54 PM Posted Saturday at 07:54 PM (edited) Hi Baltic Dragon, I’m new to DCS and playing it in VR, and despite the old engine and the endless little bugs that keep creeping up, it still manages to create atmospheric visuals and dynamics that are jaw-dropping in VR — even after two weeks in. Yet your wonderful Raven One: Dominant Fury campaign takes it to a whole new level of storytelling and action. Today I played Mission 8 of the campaign, where Pistol 36, RED, takes a hit over the Chouf Mountains in Lebanon and I lead him, as Flip, to Haifa Airport. On the way there, I contacted the tower and was BLOWN AWAY to hear them speak English with a perfect Hebrew accent — such a beautiful detail. I actually live nearby and know the area well, and even once took off and landed at that airport with a friend who flies a Cessna. It was a special experience to visit northern Israel at dawn in the conclusion of that mission, and the Israeli accent over the radio took it to a whole new level of immersion.
