Always check all displays. Or......         Five miles to my airfield. I check all important indicators and prepare for landing. Everything looks good and I think I have the changes to the flight model under control. Suddenly the engine sputters and stops. What the f...  is that? After a few seconds I discover my mistake. Ignored the fuel gauge. I'm simply out of gas.

Yea, been there, done that!

Also, forgot to open my cowl vents and the engine seized up right as I was on a diving attack run!

Check them gauges, kids, and check them often!

Good day!
