Ignored the fuel gauge. I'm simply out of gas. 1 What goes up, must come down ! If you saw it at zero after your engine quit, then you were empty on the reserve as well. When on the main tank during a flight, you’ll see the fuel needle drop to 50 gallons and then the engine will quit.
