Daws0n924 Posted Friday at 11:01 AM Posted Friday at 11:01 AM repo: https://github.com/Dawson924/MouseFlightControl Not a FREEPIE script but a independent software. It has a basic mouse control experience just like X-Plane's BetterMouseYoke plugin. Apart from that, there's also sub modes like ground-taxi mode, free-look mode. Currently it got two controllers: - Fixed-wing mode uses wheel to control throttle - Helicopter mode uses WASD to control collective and rudder Both controllers can configure sensitivity Localizations: - en_US - ru_RU (translated by GPT) - zh_CN 1

Nate--IRL-- Posted Friday at 11:13 AM Posted Friday at 11:13 AM Excellent! Will take a look at this. If it offers absolute rather than relative mouse control, then I've wanted mouse control like this since LOMAC - I know this functionality has been requested by one or two disabled users too. Now I'll be able to take a spin in DCS on my work laptop when traveling Nate 1 Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading

SharpeXB Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago It’s amazing that some people can tolerate an inverted Y-axis. Seems like torture to me. Why I bought my first flight stick long ago. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5

Yeah I realize that. Honestly it seems just frustrating to me and not worthwhile. A basic joystick is quite inexpensive. The essential problem is that flying has an inverted Y-axis vs pointing with the mouse like you do in the clickable cockpit or for aiming. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5

Well, the FreeCam uses the dcs cockpit camera view axis to look around, clicking the cockpit are even easier than i often do with head track. Actually I have my own sticks, but I m in college right now and i can't really bring em to school.
