makdok Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Quest 3 helmet. It is impossible to take and use the engine control handle as on other helicopters (ah-64, ch-47, mi-24) To fly, you have to use the keys on the keyboard + and -, this is not very convenient in the helmet and the immersion from the flight becomes worse
Hammer1-1 Posted August 23 Posted August 23 how are you trying to use the throttles? makdok Posted August 24 Author Posted August 24 (edited) Previously, I used the grab button for the lever shown in the picture, after which the helicopter would rise into the air. The readings on this device also change (second screenshot). Now the grab button does not work to grab the lever. Edited August 24 by makdok
Hammer1-1 Posted August 24 Posted August 24 (edited) thats not the throttle, thats the collective. The throttles are the round yellow handles right next to the collective. If youre pointing to the roll on/off grip, thats the corrector. Try lifting the collective a little further back. makdok Posted August 24 Author Posted August 24 in VR mode I can't interact with this lever at all. I used to be able to control it, now it's impossible to select and use
Hammer1-1 Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Try assigning an axis to it. If you cant, not sure what else to say as you really should have some hardware specifically for this in VR. Its hard enough to fly it with hardware, cant imagine wanting to do it with a mouse in vr... 1 Intel 13900k @ 5.8ghz | 64gb GSkill Trident Z | MSI z790 Meg ACE | Zotac RTX5090 | Lian Li 1300w psu | Slaw RX Viper 2 pedals | VPForce Rhino/VKB MCE Ultimate + STECS Mk2 MAX / Virpil MongoosT50+ MongoosT50CM | Virpil TCS+/ AH64D grip/custom AH64D TEDAC | Samsung Odyssey G9 + Odyssey Ark | Next Level Racing Flight Seat Pro | WinWing F-18 MIPS | No more VR for this pilot. makdok Posted August 25 Author Posted August 25 I don't use a computer mouse. I use oculus quest controllers that allow interactive interaction with levers and toggle switches in the cockpit. In all other helicopters, both the longitudinal-transverse control knob and the general pitch control lever are available, and in the ka-50 module, the pitch control lever is currently unavailable, although it could previously be controlled in VR mode. This is a problem that needs to be fixed.
