Moxica Posted August 25 Posted August 25 I get these transparent shades, one for each eye. They're worse when looking to a bright background. Sometimes, looking at darker BG, they get a bit brighter. Wut is dat? (I replicated the artifact in photoshop, and it is a tad exaggerated, but they look just like that, except they are centered.) Solution Nodak Posted August 25 Solution Posted August 25 That is quadviews in action, fortunately you have options to adjust them or simply turn them off. 1 1

Gun Jam Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago In my case it significantly reduced the issue. but I can still see it. Turn SSAO on and see if its worse.

Just tried that; No joy. BUT. ..it was the quadviews. But with QW off, it is even more jittery and swimmy. Gun Jam Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago So SSAO on VS off looks the same to you? And yes it is 100% a QV issue. However I'm quite surprised that SSAO "on" made no change on your end.

I don’t think that is correct. I also have read this that SSAO solves it. But it does not. If SSAO has anything to do with it, it must be in in combination with something else that we don’t know what is. Weather and lighting conditions impact how visible it is. But it is there, SSAO On or Off doesn’t matter. SSAO off doesn’t matter and I hope that Eagle Dynamics and Pimax don’t believe that is the solution. Because then we will be stuck with the problem. I’ll need to forward this to the devs for further testing. Just to confirm, it’s only visible when QV is activated, right?

Panzerlang Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I reckon it's a combination of high-rez/low-rez zones on a moira-prone panel.
