Can someone help with camera control from F10 Map?

Hello all!

Is there a way to place the camera anywhere in the world directed from the F10 Map? 

Example: I have combined arms. I place an artillary unit. I want to have a look at bridge with my camera before I fire.Then I want to look as the shells rain down on that location with the same camera.

Can I click somewhere on the F10 Map then slave/teleport the camera to that location? Is there any other way that is better?

Click on the position you want to overlook—your bridge for instance. (Actually, I’m not sure you even need to click. Placing the mouse may be sufficient.) Press LCtrl-F10. You’ll be looking directly down on it. Your height above it is determined by how zoomed in you are on the F10 map.
