  1. Hi all, I cant find the official manual. Where is it located?
  2. Ok thanks so much for the help! I was thinking about using Cinema4D but will choose 3dsMax instead.
  3. Hi guys, Does modding in DCS support FBX import/export? I heard that you can only use 3dsMax and you must use emd-files? Is that really true?
  4. My baby has arrived!! Thank you ED!!
  5. Quick note, as Wagner states in video below, confirming positions is only required during normal alignment, it is not required in stored alignment. Another important reminder from Mr.Wagner, please dont rearm & refuel during the alignment as it will throw off the alignment.
  6. I really love the fact that it is in active service around the world, and I get to fly it in DCS at the same time.
  7. It is very important to confirm the position with enter key during the alignment. Please see the Eagle Dynamics F16 user manual below, I have marked the text with red arrows.
  8. I love the F-16 aswell. I have moved over from JF-17 to the Viper. The Jeff was ok but the Viper is on another level. I love the F-16 engine sounds, the instruments and the weapons. All the weapons in the F-16 is fun to use, I don't know why, but I really enjoy using them!!
  9. Awesome whishlist guys! Some really nice picture aswell! I think I need to add the Mosquito to my list, I always wanted to fly a twin engine ww2 bomber. As someone suggested time period maps such as Korea would be epic, poor ED they have so much work to do! But no worries I will help the funding with my Visa
  10. You guys have made me a VR pilot you are awesome! I am saving up now and will buy the Reverb 2 during this autumn. I let you know how it works when I tried it
  11. Thank you so much for your reply! Once again your cleared all my questions in a very easy way to understand. It looks like I have a USB 3.0 C connection aswell, it is on the third picture from above, the red usb connection with a number 10 on it, I found thos picture on the internet and it has the same symbol:
  12. Hi here are some pictures of my computer. All I can see is that I have one DiplayPort but further down I have 4 more ports and I am not sure what those are, are those DisplayPorts aswell? I was also wondering if I have a USB 3.0 C connection, can you help me find it, it is a requirement for Reverb 2 aswell?
  13. Hi guys What incoming modules are you looking forward to the most? I am curious to hear your opinions! Feel free to post pictures of the airplanes if you want, a picture say more then a thousand words! For me personally I am really looking forward to the F4U Corsair, I am really hoping for some WW2 carrier landings at the Marianas Map. I am also very much looking forward to the MIG-23, it really looks like a angry predator ready for some cold war action!
  14. Hi uboats thanks for the reply I really appriciate it ! That is great news that the engine sounds are being worked on! Makes me very very happy! Ok so the refuel probe is in the main meny now? Wow that is amazing!! I can´t tell you how thankful I am!! You guys are amazing, what a wonderful development team and community this is!!
  15. Ok I will post a picture tomorrow my connections and my computer rig (Im away from town today on family meeting), thanks guys
  16. Can you guys help me with another question? It is about the displayport connection that both the Oculus S and Reverb 2 uses. My computer only have one DisplayPort, and my gaming screen is a MSI Optix AG32CQ that uses the displayport in order to get 144hz. So with only one diplayport occupied by my monitor, do I have to unplug my monitor in order to connect and use the VR headset? How do you guys normally do?
  17. Thanks for the reply and I fully agree I want the full DCS experience and I want to feel like I am inside and actual airplane, I want to be imerssed
  18. This is incredible well written reply you have given me and I couldn't even have guessed half of it even if I wanted it. I am immensely gratefull for the help and understand the effort it took from your part to write it all down. Thank you so much! I have to do some investigation to get the information about what processor number I have. If I have the right processor I will purchase Reverb G2. Thanks for sharing your settings aswell!
  19. Ok thanks for the help! I was thinking about buying the Rift S, how large is the difference compared to the Reverb G2 when it comes to visual quality? How important is the visual quality vs frame-rate performance, what would you regard as the most important? I understand this is novice questions but I am just starting out so I have no idea really.
  20. The JF-17 is a super cool airplane and let me explain why you should try it. The machine - human interface in the cockpit is awesome with 3 large LCD screens (they are known to be easy to read in VR), the JF-17 comes with a great air-to ground radar to lock targets and designate them on the fly to the laser pod, the APPR/ILS landing system is very very good, it draws lines for the approach to the runway, you can defeat s-300 with glide bombs without being shot down, you have a dynamic checklist that will show you have to configure the airplane at taxi , takeoff and so on. The list goes on and on. The JF-17 gets lots of hate because it is a Redfor fighter, and that is just silly. It really is a pilots aircraft with huge amount of entertainment value.
  21. Hi all, I love the JF-17 it is a super cool airplane and the only high -end module that I own. I could only wish for two more things that would make this airplane the perfect fighter for me in DCS. 1. Deka, is it possible to increase the engine sounds in the cockpit. It might not be the right thing to do when it comes to realism but come on this is a simulator and we want to feel that we are in a real fighter jet, I want the hear that engine roar at take off ! 2. I know it is possible to remove the fuel probe ingame, but it is so booring to scroll in the communications meny at every cold start, could we have a box to check in the main meny to remove the probe, the JF-17 looks so much beautiful and deadly without it (and the probe blocks the view inside the cockpit) Thanks Deka for listening to the community and continuous updating the awesome airplane!
  22. Ok thanks RvL thats really helpfull! I had no idea that the processor had such an impact om the performance aswell, that is really interesting! Thanks for sharing your settings ingame, I will bookmark this thread and try to adjust my settings similar in the future. Sounds very promising, a solid 40 fps in multiplayer sounds really good in my novice ears, I think you just made me a future VR pilot in DCS !!
  23. Hi guys, What framerate do you think I can get with my current specifications? Would love to know before I invest in a VR headset. I have a MSI MAG CODE X 5 gaming desktop : Intel Core i7 32 GB RAM Nvidia RTX 3070 SSD 1 TB
