Where can i find a V1.02 update For Lomac ??

I can`t play with my friends online, on LOMAC V1.01 (I Bought the disk)

I understood that in order to play i have to install the 1.02 version..

I can`t find the update. can some one guide me ??

You most need Flaming Cliffs..and patch 1.12b in order to play with most online in hyperlobby...most server run Flaming Cliffs..so don't bother getting the patch 1.02 just buy the Flaming Cliffs which upgrades you to 1.11 and then patch it to 1.12b

The most important thing is that all participants of MP use the same version, so if your friend runs 1.02 so should you but I strongly recommend both of you switching to Flaming Cliffs (1.1) and place a 1.12a or b patch over fresh install.

 

This gives you an opportunity to join HL and fight along or against thousands of other FC users!

I agree completely as I stated before get Flaming Cliffs you won't regret it..actually you will thanks us for telling you to upgrade to Flaming Cliffs..

You need to access the UBI.com/Play Online! from start menu (for V1.02). You can't access it from LOMAC.exe.

If I understand you correctly you want your friend to connect to you " Right " well then you are setup as a client in Network Settings..if you look at the top left of your picture you see client button is red..you must click Server..then your Friend can connect directly to you ..

 

also what is your Internet connection are you dial up(I mean use of phone line..) or Cable connections..for you internet surfing

You really don't need Ubisoft...do you know your IP address to your system..if not go online and type in search MyIP...once you know that you tell your friend that IP address..

 

Then start Network play..then make sure in Network settings you click Server button(it should show red now,once you have clicked it) once you have done that click start..it will take you into the Coalition screen..make sure your firewall is down or he won't connect..also make sure you put in you connection speed which is for you modem...

 

Also you both must have the same version of Lock On and the same Mod's if any you both must have...:doh:

 

When you connect to the internet do you connect right away or do you hear a lot of crazy noises..like to you hear like it is your phone dialing a phone number..because if you connect when you click internet explorer..you have a direct link..so thats not a modem connection...

To make it as simple and step by step.

 

First of all: You dont need ubi.com to do this

 

1: To prepare an online session with your freind get your IP adress (like on your screenshot (95.156.......) and send it to him so he can connect to your computer.

 

2: You allso need a map to fly on so you either built your own in the mission editor or you use some of the prefab coop missions in lockon.

 

3: Go in to multiplayer and change from "player" to "server" and set "Speed" to 124 then press start.

 

 

(New screen)

 

 

4: Choose a map (select a homemade or coop) and pres "Fly"

 

5: Now your hosting ..... and if not your firewall or router has any objections you have to iron out ..... you should be good to go.

 

6: All your freind has to do is to go into multiplayer on his comp leave the button on "Client" type in your IP and in "Speed" select 124 and press "connect".
