REL Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 "- SET EXPLOSION (use a trigger zone to set the location of the explosion and set the altitude and power of the explosion in the trigger action settings)" So the "power of the explosion" is in meters (Radius) or kilogram ?
Weta43 Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 From memory its neither, but is a nominal or "relative" strength scale.. Cheers.
REL Posted August 18, 2009 Author Posted August 18, 2009 Well in that case I wish ED will provide us that "relative" strength to kilogram scale ... so we can know how much explosive we need to make an effective IED. :bomb:
MBot Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 Even if the scale is fictional, it seems to me it still scales very roughly to kg. So go ahead and try your IED with a value of 500. Then adjust as you see fit.
Kenan Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 But don't go to0 far with the values. You don't wanna blow up your mission editor. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Commanding Officer of: 2nd Company 1st financial guard battalion "Mrcine" See our squads here and our . Croatian radio chat for DCS World

davek1979 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Does the explosion affect nearby units ? I mean I exploded 10000 units of explosives and a Predator, roughly 10m away from the explosion centre didn't show any signs of destruction... ...well someone has to move the mud!!!
