RyanR Posted Thursday at 01:01 AM Posted Thursday at 01:01 AM (edited) Amazing work! The pilot camera FOV has a strange fisheye thing going on. It's cooked into the module, as none of my other DCS modules do this (and I own all of them). I'm getting nauseous just sitting in the plane on the ground. Can we get an option to change this? Thanks! -Ryan Edited Thursday at 01:02 AM by RyanR
RyanR Posted Thursday at 02:27 AM Author Posted Thursday at 02:27 AM More info: default FOV for MiG-29A is 119 degrees. All other DCS modules use ~82 degrees. If I could find a LUA to change this, I'll be home free. -Ryan
Vakarian Posted Thursday at 07:54 AM Posted Thursday at 07:54 AM Follow this and it should help (the part with saving the snapview)
Solution RyanR Posted Thursday at 02:07 PM Author Solution Posted Thursday at 02:07 PM Thanks! I got it sorted last night after way too much googling. The default FOV for the Fulcrum is 119. Delete the snapview.lua, and that's what you get (though I started out with no snapview.lua, as I have no saved snapviews). This is an unnatural FOV. The Fulcrum module is the outlier relative to all other DCS modules (and I own all the modules). I adjusted FOV to 80-90-ish, and then and saved the view. It looks amazing. ED looks to have done a great job! -Ryan
