Has someone done a expanded weapon mod on the new Mig-29 like the FC3 version has? Curious as to what actually works on it in order to replicate ukrainian mig-29s against russia with agm-88, gbu bomb trucks, etc.

I was able to add new weapons. Unfortunately, they aircraft systems dont recognize them so you cannot use them at all. I havent been able to find a way to fix that like with the M2000C and the PCA script. Hopefully some can figure it out...

Yeah from what I've found out the only way to do it is like the F-16I SUFA mod where you replace an existing weapon but that is purely cosmetic and doesnt actually give you the capes of the new weapon you are replacing it with. Just a model swap.

You wont be able to add any new weapons,
The systems for player cockpit are set to detect CLSIDs of the weapons and load the necessary interfaces per hardpoint.

 What method did you use to add new weapons @VictorDavion @JGi - Quéton 1-1? Did you edit the loadout presets or did you edit the lua file of the Mig-29 directly? And what weapons did you try to add? I'm thinking of modding the weapons of the fulcrum, but wanted to see what others tried first.

I modded the LUA file directly and added the CLSID's per additional weapon. The weapons will display on the jet no issues but the a/c systems wont recognize them and they arent usable. Non-ED modules this works no issue like the mirage F-1 or F-4E, but for ED modules you cant do it with the exception of modding in replacements for existing weapons but its purely cosmetic not capability.

 That's what I feared. What a shame, I was hoping it would work. Maybe someone more code competent figures out a workaround someday, but until then...
