It seemed the FPS suffered I made a few adjustments on the DCS Options and when it went below the usage it was fine.. so not sure what you are saying is true? It is true. Unless artificially limited by a fps limit, you will always be either limited by the GPU or CPU, which will run basically at a 100% (maybe reported differently though, because of architecture like multiple cores or purpose specific cores). That in itself doesn’t cause stuttering. If it would, nobody would ever play free of stutters. I’m not going into the possible reasons for your stutters right now, because there is so many possibilities for it. I’m just telling you, you are fishing in the wrong spot or rather, you maybe are looking at correlation not causation. (well here is a random list of possible culprits: - windows (e.g. power service, AV like defender) - lack of VRAM - IO processes (like drive access) - background processes (monitoring software, RGB crap etc) - driver issues - settings issues …..) you get the idea…… "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"

(well here is a random list of possible culprits: - windows (e.g. power service, AV like defender) a. Power serive is set to ultimate and AV DEfender is turned off when playing.. - lack of VRAM = b. well not using all vram at that current time. - IO processes (like drive access) c. Only thing accessing the drive was DCS and some other processes I would imagine in order to run the game like audio drivers and such..I use SteamVR but turn Steam off itself which helps a bit.. - background processes (monitoring software, RGB crap etc) d. I have MSI Afterburner and Fan control for fan speed control. I dont have any RGB Software like Razer and such.. I do use the windows color scheme that contorls the lights on my PC.. - driver issues-- e. I reinstall windows many times a year and this was a Total NVME secure erase of both my Drives and BIOS REinstall. with a fresh install of Win 11 Pro 24H2. my nvidia and audio drivers I install alone and reboot after.. - settings issues--- f. I have the settings pretty low and could show if you want. …..) you get the idea…… Yes I get the idea.. I have the FPS limit too 300 so it is not that but wierd after I adjusted the settings the GPU USage went down and the performance went up.. I guess I asked to much from the GPU, could that be the cause and not so much the GPU USage? I am not asking for help but would like to know why it did what it did.. I get excellent performance and just curious and was wondering if maybe I get a new GPU. I mean I can live with the way it is but if I can gain more performance that is always a plus.. I had answered some questions in the quote above EDIT: I just want to point out when I got real bad GPU Usage and Frametimes when I was in Cairo on a helipad near the Pyramids in a KA-50 III. I went to Caucusus and it lowered the GPU Usage and frametime.. so maybe it was just too much of a demanding scene?
