Vakarian Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Excuse my ignorance, but is there a way to disable the automatic switch between barometric and radar readout? I do find it a bit annoying, however if it's IRL feature then it is what it is and I'll learn to deal with.
Divadov Posted September 26 Posted September 26 (edited) Where is the switch? I haven't found it. Edited September 26 by Divadov

You probably noticed that the altimeter works as RALT up to 1500m and if you don't bank too much which make it to lose ground (pun intended ) will show BALT. It is not a bug but a mere feature of the airframe as smaller brother to the Su-27 this is common behavior for all fighter jets from the Soviet era. 1 Win10 • E5-2698 • 64GB • Quadro P4000 Ai-Track • Xbox F-15C • F-16C • F/A-18C || Su-25 • Su-27 • MiG-29 || F-22 • F-15EX • JAS-39 MilitaryAircraftMod • CH-Iran • Clean Cockpit Afghanistan • Persian Gulf • Iraq • Syria → will see

I know how radar altimeters works and how/when it's displayed in the MiG. I just wasn't sure if there's a way to force barometric only. Now after AeriaGlorias response I know that's not design feature.
