Drona Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Yesterday, I did a test flight and went up to Mach 2.3 (by the way, the Mach gauge in the English cockpit is so wrong, but I see it is already reported) at 22,000 meters. I was just about to reduce power when I lost both engines or at least the engines returned to idle or less than idle...(felt like it was starved for air). Once I dropped down to about 12 km, the engines automatically started up one by one. Is this as intended? My question is there is an air relight switch (for both engines) on the left control panel below the COOP mode section...but none of that is clickable as yet. Will this be implemented later on? I believe it should be implemented. You can see the engines lose power in this video: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2576571368 Watch from 36:00 to 40:00. Unfortunately, I don't have a track file. AeriaGloria Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Engines do have ability to relight on their own Black Shark Den Squadron Member: We are open to new recruits, click here to check us out or apply to join! https://blacksharkden.com
Drona Posted 11 hours ago Author Posted 11 hours ago Okay, that's cool. But what's the reason for the air relight switch and also if you could enlighten me, the reason for the APU switch? Just curious and would love to know. Thanks.

I see two engine relight switches and an emergency APU off switch Black Shark Den Squadron Member: We are open to new recruits, click here to check us out or apply to join! https://blacksharkden.com
Dača Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago That is APU. To help with startup if startup is done without cables. But I was able to start engines without touching that switch and without ground power.

Why is that APU switch there if it is not needed or has that been bypassed in early access?

I can see reason to turn it on. What if testing? What if you need a power source while you wait?
