VR-Monocle in desktop view as Special option

Hello!
I found out today that the VR-Users get to enjoy this absolutely gorgeous Monocle, and was wondering if this could be implemented as a Special option for the Desktop users, I'd love to see it! (Picture for those who haven't seen it)

In VR we see also part of HMD mounted on the helmed, looks very nice, however, in 2D it may be disturbing.
