HDMI out to HT receiver with 5.1.2 DTS/Atmos for surround sound.

So is there DTS/Atmos/Surround audio in DCS, when going to HT receiver from 4th HDMI OUT for audio only. Three panels connected to DP ports, and HDMI to home theater for audio. I do get DTS, Surround, some Atmos audio FX when streaming 4K films and audio encoded YT. However I can't tell if I get spatial audio in DCS. Spatial tests from YT and Yamaha (my receiver) do deliver the spatial audio. I get great DCS stereo audio. But unable to accurately tell if I a getting spatial sound.

Was YT played at PC through HDMI over to the receiver?

Yes. PC audio is through HT , connected via HDMI. in Nvidia panel, it identifies audio as Nvidia Audio. However spatial audio has to be encoded in the signal. Receiver or Nvidia won't magically spatialize otherwise stereo sound. I get deep bass, good audio. But I don't feel that Atmost/DTS/Surround speakers are used. Just the 2.1, front and subwoofer, when in DCS.

What have you chosen as the speaker setup in both Windows and DCS?

I have a Yamaha too, but I use the optical output from the mainboard.
