Emergency landing gear deployment handle non-functional

  I found myself hit by a missile in a sortie, and lost my right engine, all hydraulics power as well as control over my right wing pylons (nice to see the damage model is still a WIP, but has cool functionalities on the way!). I managed to limp home but found out when approaching the airfield that the emergency landing gear deployment handle, located under the left side of the main panel, was neither clickable or bindable.

 When can we hope to see it modelled?

I don't think this thread has been categorised correctly. DCS is a combat simulator, the emergency gear handle is essential for landings after limping home, I have lost a sortie to the failure of my hydraulics and lack of emergency gear. This is a core plane feature, not a wishlist item. Similarly the engine relight switches are not simulated currently which I hope will be fixed shortly.

I got shot but the aircraft was flying so I took it for landing. I noticed on gear down and flaps down that neither deployed. I tried pulling emergency gear handle but it wouldn't move, nor I was able to find a binding for it. 

I am happy that belly landing was a success story for me with all nice flames and sparks but still think this element of the aircraft should be included from day 1 hence the bug report, although I have been here long enough to anticipate the answer.
