1st Detent Gun Trigger not working

After the latest patch animation of triggers was "fixed". However, firing trigger is always in down position now. Normally all triggers should be in the UP position. When pilot intend to launch weapon, then flip trigger down and press it. When intend to fire the cannon, then flip up firing trigger and flip down "НО" trigger and press it.

Please ED include a more precise description of the trigger behaviours in the manual. I would like to replicate the true behaviour with my VKB MCG Pro. Thank you!

Hello!

Prior to .16362 pressing Gun Trigger 1st detent while having an STT lock moved the reticle directly over the locked target.
Now the reticle does not move anymore when in STT.

Tested with Hot Start (Air) and Cold Start machines. Does not work anymore.

Did you try within 1600m?

Within 1600m it works i would say.
The question is, how should it work? Prior the update you were able to press 1st detent when having a STT lock. No matter if if it was on 30nm or 10nm´s.

The combat manual claims that symbology should only change to gun mode within 1600m. 
 

So need to line up gimbal limit indicator (diamond for radar and circle for IRST) in the center of the display to see approximate location just like a MiG-21 with a HUD now

Is it a "gun mode" symbology or not?! Thats the question.
I have a former MIG-29S Pilot on my hand which i can ask.

Maybe he can remind on the symbology.

I mean you are lowering the gun trigger. The whole idea is the circle is there to line up the crosshairs which will appear once within effective gun range. Here is a quote from combat employment, I was mistaken the symbology change is at 1200m

”At a target range of less than 1200 m, the information on the ILS will change to the "NSVV" mode indication (Fig. 55)”

We were unsure before if it meant perhaps just the crosshairs with range circle and not the target circle, but I guess this is our answer.

So currently radar diamond is still broken for elevation. However regardless if you have IRST lock or radar lock If you press first detent and are outside 1600m, the same circle boresight that you get when locking for IRST shows up, and with radar lock only you can now use it to line up boresight to target to get visual.

I don’t understand. Aren’t those just the normal boresight indicators for IRST or radar lock? Unless you mean it simply puts a circle around the center crosshairs until 1600m. 
 

That diamond, it has to move up and down on 45 degree scale. There is no other way I can see

So the change is now once you lock a target if you pull the first detent for the gun a circle appears that if you put the cross hairs in the center of the circle you will boresight  the target at any range. This works even if you just have radar lock7

When you close inside 1600m the circle goes over the target. 

So in other words you can get it like if you have IRST lock
