investigating Scan Area George CPG / George can't find targets

Hello all,

I flew the first time today since yesterday's patch. Unfortunately the new update seems to have messed up George CPG. When I order him to scan the TADS FWD area, he only searches in the near vicinity of the helicopter (estimated 300m) and even there he doesn't find any target. I attached the last mission, where I have to protect an convoy. There you can see his range of checking and that he doesn't recognize even the friendly convoy.

Maybe, I'm doing something wrong? I do the startup (TSD, FLT, Boresight) from the pilot's side and after that, I give order George CPG to do hist startup. Whrn he has finished, I start the enginges one by one and takeoff, when the alignment is ready.

Hi Cat, 

can you create a shorter track, maybe with a hot start aircraft. When we take control of your track it seems to behave correctly. 

Need to remember George isn't almighty and all seeing. Searching with TADS while in motion just sets George to look optically for distinct targets against scenery. It's not like a radar locking into things behind walls. The infantry targets you are scanning for are also hidden by trees slightly so it will be more difficult to spot them in cover.

thank you for your fast answer. I'll do a short mission to test it an will upload the track. Is it possible to adjust the range George is scanning in front of Apache?

Here's is the Track. This time, he found the trucks I placed at an open spot, but only when I was almost over them. Any AAA would have shot me down within this range. It seems as if George only scans in the near forward range.
