CH Combatstick USB and trim problems

Hi.

 

Yesterday i got my new flight stick ! :pilotfly:

Its great but ...

 

Well i mapped the trim functions on 2 buttons on my stick

One for trim and one for reset the trim. When i press inn the trim and get

the correct angle i want i release the trim button. What happens now is that

i cant move the flight stick! If i press the reset trim button i can move the stick again.. I had a winman 3d flight stick and i worked fine..

Soo something ain't right , right ??

If you are running with the new trimmer implementation you must re-centre your stick and pedals (if you have them) before you can regain control of the cyclic and rudder. Re-centre immediately after trim.

Navigate to the following file:

 

Eagle Dynamics/Scripts/Aircrafts/Common/FMOptions.lua

 

and find the following entries.........

 

 

HelicopterTrimmerZonePitch = 0.05

HelicopterTrimmerZoneRoll = 0.05

 

 

Change to the following:

 

 

HelicopterTrimmerZonePitch = 0.2

HelicopterTrimmerZoneRoll = 0.2

 

 

Done?

 

 

Now navigate to the following file:

 

Eagle Dynamics/Ka-50/Config/Producer.CFG

 

Toggle 'ForceFeedbackEnabled' from 'True' to 'False'.

 

 

Important: Attend to the above changes with Notepad++

 

 

 

Let us know if that helps :)

 

 

PS: Delete the 'Reset Trim' function from your profile and forget about it - Does way more Harm than Good ;)
