jackd Posted Tuesday at 04:31 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:31 PM (edited) Hi. Has anyone ever tried to control vehicles with an Xbox controller if you have combined arms? The controller shows up in options-controls, but you can also eventually send send Xinput signals to DrectInput via Xinput Plus, probably NOT needed as with IL2 Great Battles: =========== for IL2: download https://www.softpedia.com/get/Gaming-Related/XInput-Plus.shtml Point the to DCS.exe in the bin folder, and set DirectInput to enable first, start DCS and it shows up in your Keymapping Setup, and then you can sett up the buttons and axis X-Y-Z to your liking. You could organize the USB joy ID numbers with JoyID as Xinput adds a new joyID number that might change your setup. In my case only a new higher ID was added with IL2. If you find out more le'me know! Have fun! ============ I am curious if someone has already done this, and maybe has a recommended Button and Ministick layout made up. here's an A4 size layout sheet if needed: Edited Tuesday at 04:47 PM by jackd
