Power Loss

I was flying the mosquito a couple of weeks ago with no issues, however now it just falls out of the sky. It doesn't have enough power to keep it airborne.

You've got simplified flight model option turned on (or whatever it's called nowadays). Mosquito is known to be incompatible with it (ie. the mission will load, but the plane won't be able to fly properly)
