Help with Cougar Collective Please

I really want to enjoy this magnificent sim but I can't seem to be able to map my collective to the Cougar Throttle.

 

Right now, my collective is the Range Knob. I tried mapping the Collective to JoySlider1 but no joy.

 

Someone w/ Cougar setup please help me.

I'm using Viper's Cougar profile.

The SIM should automatically pick up on the Input and map it accordingly. Just go to your options/controls/axis commands and clear the Flight Control Collective Block. Then hit 'ADD' and move the throttle to and fro - Should automatically allocate 'JOY Z'.

 

Above set up works with my Cougar.

Thanks Viper. I'll give it a try again. I did that before but it did not pick up throttle...but I just manually recalibrated the Cougar so I'll give it one more try.

I tried it again and it worked! Thanks for your help. It came up as JoyZ. I don't know why that didn't work before. I really appreciate it.
