Is taxiing more broken now?

I can't even spin the plane around with braking.  It seems to stop halfway through and go the opposite way I'm braking.

Yes it’s broken, look at the 9-page thread about it right next to yours in the most recent list.  “Maneuvering on ground with differential brakes”

It seemed to have gotten worse since I last flew it.  You can't even turn around anymore.

Correct. In the last update or the one before that it changed.  The weathervaning effect is not correct.  Turn the wind off and you’ll be able to turn.  Read that thread. It’s all there.

I guess that means no carrier ops then because if the boat is moving...

It doesn't stop Carrier Ops because you don't turn round on a Carrier..

You do if you land to close to the bow.  I needed to turn around to take off.
